The DS Custom Harmonious Perc is our adaption of one of the most famous and highly sought after effect pedals in history, the Interfax Harmonic Percolator.

As in the original, the Harmonious Perc also uses a silicon and a germanium transistor (in this case a NOS Soviet one), and two germanium Diodes (we used 2 NOS Soviet ones in here).

To make it stand out and to make it work better in some applications, we wanted to add some more useful features to it, like the switchable FFB circuit, which makes it work better with Buffers in front of it. Also we wanted to add some more controls, like the Symmetry and the Sag control, and have the Diode Lift footswitchable as this makes it easier to control this in a live situation.

Controls:

• On Footswitch: Switches from Bypass to Effect Sound. If LED is active, you'll hear the effected sound of the Pedal
• Diode Lift Footswitch: Disables the Clipping Diodes
• Balance Poti: Controls the Output Volume
• Symmetry Poti: Gets you from symmetrical (Fully CCW) to asymmetrical Clipping (Fully CW). The stock Harmonic Percolator setting will be around noon
• Harmonics Poti: Controls the signal level coming into the transistor Fuzz stage
• Sag Poti: Emulates a dying battery which gradually reduces the voltage from 9V (fully CCW).
• Ω Trimmer: Sets the Impedance of the simulated Pickup in the FFB Circuit
• HB/SC Switch: Switch between Humbucker & Singlecoil Mode
• FFB Switch: The FFB Circuit is wired in True Bypass, we recommend to activate (up position!) this switch when the Harmonious Perc is used with a buffered signal in front of it
